Amazing bar with the lowest prices, cheapest place in Jersey City to get a beer. 4 for a 16oz draft?? Insane. You can’t find that price in other Grove St locations. I love the atmosphere. As a bar hopper, I feel like there’s a homey environment where you’ll meet a lot of locals. Their firefighter crowd can be pretty fun. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a bar that feels like home. And again, you can’t beat the prices. The fact that I can get the priciest cocktail on the menu for 12. Name another place you can say that about in Jersey City. Charles is awesome, ask for him at the bar
Yesterday I visited Healys Tavern for the 2nd time in the past few months. I had the pleasure of meeting the cook Victor who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we ordered and had a clean table. Must I add the food was unbelievably delicious. Can't wait to come back, enjoy the atmosphere and food!!!
My friends and I come here almost every week! It’s our favorite local spot to go for a casual hang. It’s got cold drinks, great food, regular trivia, darts, outside seating, Touch Tunes - what more could you need! ps - Vicky is the BEST!!
Big fan since I moved to JC, it’s a must stop side bar whenever I have family/friends visiting. The food is good to order and comes out very hot, YUM! Thanks to Vic on the grill and all the fabulous bartenders who take care of everyone:) My favorite bar in Jersey City!
Healy’s tavern is the best local bar in Jersey City! Vicky and Francis are the best bartenders! They are always so kind and make you feel like you are friends hanging out and part of the community. Prices are right, food is delicious and the people are incredible!
The bartenders Vickie and Francis are amazing! The Trivia guys bully me from time to time but it’s all good because Vicki puts them in their place!
I hosted brunch after my son’s baptism here! Everything was absolute perfection and we can’t thank this establishment enough. Tori helped make this event a seamless process. When we arrived everything was ready and everyone was attentive, responsive and so great and helpful. Plus the food was delicious! We will be back soon.
Coldest beer in Jersey City! Hands down my favorite bar downtown. Come here every Sunday after our softball games and the entire staff is always so nice and accommodating. 4 coors lite drafts all day everyday. The food is great too. Vicki is the best bartender in the biz. Can’t recommend this place enough. Though I gotta be careful, don’t want it to get too crowded!
